Experience some of the best fishing spots Sydney has to offer. Just 31km from Sydney’s hustle and bustle is the magnificent Northern Beaches and Pittwater area. This area boasts unbelievable fishing, huge cliff faces and spectacular views! Join us for great fishing, a delicious BBQ and a good time.

Depending on weather conditions, you can head offshore or fish the many estuary systems Pittwater and Hawkesbury has to offer.

The fishing under the huge headlands produces pelagic fish such as King Fish and Tuna species. A short trip out to sea, will see you sitting above underwater mountains and fantastic fishing structures catching fish such as Snapper, Jew fish and many other awesome fighting and eating fish!

For lunch your skipper will whip up a beautiful BBQ of assorted meats accompanied by mixed salads, refreshments and an icy cold beer if you wish to BYO.

The boat is equipped with all fishing essentials such as:

  • out and down riggers
  • live bait tank
  • GPS
  • pelagic fighting station
  • rod holders
  • huge built in esky
  • stereo/iPod sound system
  • toilet
  • deck wash
  • comfy seating all around the deck
  • fantastic sun baking/diving platform on top
  • first aid necessities and
  • swim ladder which doubles as an embarking and disembarking platform for a virtually dry landing on to beaches

All fish of legal size caught over the day can be taken home to show off to jealous friends and family.

A Fishing License Exemption meaning guests aren’t required to have a fishing license.

This experience voucher is valid for 12 months from date of purchase.

Venue:

The pick up point for this experience is at Newport Wharf.

Session Length

The tour departs at 6:30am and returns approx 2:30pm on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Guidelines:

Participants must be at least 12 years old.

Numbers:

For each tour there will be a max of 8 guests with 1 skipper.

Weather:

This experience may be affected by adverse weather however it can be rescheduled or changed to fish in calmer waters.

This experience is available 7 days a week.

    I finally caught the largest fish in my life which was an 80CM yellow tale king fish, thanks to liam the host of the charter, was very happy with the expierence he was very helpfull and friendly and I would definitely try this again. everyone else on board had the opportunity to catch something as well not all big but a catch is a catch, would love to join him again, and very nice BBQ :)

    A thoroughly enjoyable day on the water chasing somewhat elusive fish. But the scenery of Pittwater and Broken Bay and the very nice BBQ lunch more than made up for the challenges of getting fish on hooks! Not only would I recommend it, I intend to do it again.

    The skipper was on time, pleasant, obliging and very versatile. The BBQ lunch was very good. All in all an enjoyable experience
