Fishing Charter - Half Day
This saltwater sport fishing charter takes you off into the deep blue for a great time on the ocean! The vessel is equipped with a range of rods and reels for various kinds of fishing and crew provide expert advice. Small group sizes and personalised coaching make this a deluxe fishing experience!
On the day of your experience we leave the wharf at 7am or 12:30pm for a five hour fishing charter. You will be heading out into the ocean in a 34’ Seatamer sport-fishing flybridge cruiser. These boats are believed by many professional fishermen to be among the best for this kind of fishing adventure.
Crew will begin by introducing you to the vessel and equipment and will give you a rundown of safety procedures. The boat is equipped with all the required safety equipment and we are compliant with State safety standards.
The boat is also equipped with a galley, coffee facilities, fridge and freezer, hot and cold running water, LCD TV with ability to run an Ipod, CD or DVD and comfortable seats. A shower and toilet are located in the front cabin.
All rods, reels and bait are provided during your fishing trip and the crew will provide fishing advice and tuition, if required. We have a range of quality Shimano rods and reels as well as Shakespeare light spinning gear. A GPS and sounder help us locate seabed structures and allow us to return to particular fishing hot spots. Coffee, tea, soft drinks and some hot dogs are also provided.
Once we are out on location you will cast your line and wait for the bite! Snapper, leatherjacket, flathead, kingfish and trevally are all fish that you may catch on the day. Sit back and enjoy the freedom of being out to sea with your fishing buddies.
But the fun doesn’t necessarily stop when you get back to shore. All legal-sized fish you catch will be cleaned and ready for you to take home after your fishing trip so that you can enjoy your catch with your family and friends!

Venue:
Cronulla/Port Hacking approximately 25 km south of the Sydney CBD. It is 30 minutes by car and also on the Blue train line to Cronulla.
Session Length
This experience is available seven days a week. Bookings are essential and are subject to availability. Departures are 7am or 12:30pm unless you have made other arrangements. Please allow approximately five hours for this experience. This product will available from July 2011 onwards.
Guidelines:
This experience is not suitable for children under 12 years of age. No experience is necessary as our crew will provide expert fishing advice and tuition if required.
Numbers:
The price quoted is for one person. We operate with a minimum of six and a maximum of eight people per fishing trip. If minimum numbers are not met, we may need to reschedule your fishing trip for a later date.
Spectators:
Not suitable for spectators.
Weather:
This experience may be affected by the weather. In the case of poor weather conditions, we may need to reschedule your experience for a later date. Unless you hear from us, your fishing experience is confirmed.
Other Info:
All rods, reels and bait are provided on the day; however you are welcome to bring your own equipment. You may BYO alcohol, provided that it is consumed responsibly and towards the end of the trip. You may also want to bring medication if you suffer from seasickness.

Excellent day out at sea.

Rained the night before the trip, SMS Roland that night and confirmed that the fishing trip was still on (excellent communication). Both gentlemen were great hosts and were knowledgeable in what they do. Excellent day and not a bad catch. We caught a variety of fish. Craig suggested how and when to cook Bonito, which is now probably the best fish I've eaten to date. Definitely recommend to family and friends.

It would be great to see what is happening under the boat - maybe a large screen fish finder and/or underwater camera to fill in the time whilst waiting for a bite.

Unfortunately about an 11/2 hours in to the trip I became ill and blacked out then had continuous episodes of waste leaving my mouth so hence ended up in an ambulance to Sutherland hospital - I must thank the captain and crew for recognising that I was very ill and taking me back promptly - which was unfortunate for my daughter who had caught a fish and the other six people out on the boat that day.
