Explore 3000 acres of lush green valleys and ancient rainforest trails at Australia’s largest horse riding centre. We will provide you with an unforgettable 2 hour horse riding experience, riding through unspoilt Australian bush and cantering across lush green valleys.
Enjoy horse riding less than one hour from Sydney or Newcastle. Ride through unspoilt Australian bush and canter across lush green valleys. Discover the shady canopy of the rainforest trail, meander along the banks of Popran Creek, the purest tributary to the Hawkesbury River and then arrive at the natural rock pools.
Keep an eye out for the abundant wildlife on your ride, including wallabies, lyrebirds, cockatoos, king parrots and bellbirds. Altogether there are 50kms of unspoilt wilderness trails to explore.
Take a relaxing 2 hour guided ride with one of our friendly guides to assist you. If you are an experienced rider and you wish to break away from the group, you may be able to do this with the permission of your guide. There are 200 quality horses to choose from with challenging horses for expert riders through to gentle horses for nervous beginners.
Our experienced staff will match one of our quality horses to your level of experience. All riders are given full instruction.

Venue:
Located at Peats Ridge – 1 hour from the Harbour Bridge, 20 minutes from Hornsby or just 15 minutes from Gosford.
Session Length
This experience is 2 hours in duration and operates 7 days a week. Rides depart Weekdays at 10am and 2pm. Weekends at 9.30am, 12pm and 2pm. Please book at least 2 days in advance of your preferred date. During peak times (school holidays and public holidays) the rides are very busy, so book early.
Guidelines:
Riders under 18 will need to be signed in by a parent or guardian on the day. No previous experience is necessary. This ride is suitable for children over the age of 7 years. Please Note: There is a weight limitation of 110kg.
Numbers:
The price quoted is for one person. You will be in a group on the day of up to 10 people and accompanied by an experienced guide.
Spectators:
Not suitable for spectators.
Weather:
Rides are conducted in all weather conditions. Groups vary between 1 and 10 people accompanied by an experienced guide.
Other Info:
Riders will be required to sign an application to ride form prior to participating in their ride.

It was great; they were well organised, the horses were in excellent condition, the scenery was beautiful what more could you want. My daughter came with me and she is not a very experienced rider and was initally a little aprehensive, but the staff put her mind at easy and gave her a fantastically well behaved horse. This has now given her the confidence she trotted, and even had a little canter. Many thanks to Glenworth Valley and RedBalloon .

My 9year old daughter was given a voucher for the 2 hour horse trail ride at Glenworth Valley. The whole experience was fabulous. She was all big and brave until we got there and then she wanted me to go with her, the staff were very accommodating and got me on a horse. Our guide was fantastic he was very patient and gentle when teaching and explaining things to her. In the end were both trotting and having a ball. My group of 5 had a wonderful day celebrating my 57th Birthday on horseback, I hadn't ridden a horse of over 20 years. As soon as I was in the saddle the memories came back. It was a hot day and when we arrived at the watering hole my horse Barney went in to cool off, it was a wonderful experience to cool off with him. The trail was breath taking and the guides were really friendly and helpful.On the down side, I am a little sore in the legs at the moment. A GREAT DAY BY ALL.

Loved everything about the experience. We were stuck with a few screaming kids in our group which impeded on the tranquility but I guess that's really no one's fault!
