Thai cooking looks easy doesn't it? Well it is! A top Sydney Thai chef hosts a cooking class with all the tricks to turn simple fresh ingredients into stunning gourmet cuisine. The fragrance, the recipes, the technique, eating the food... what could be more fun?! Learn skills you'll use forever!

Upon arrival at our college you'll be offered a refreshment. You'll then be given a short orientation including navigating some of the typical Asian supermarket ingredients.

Your talented chef then demonstrates the courses that you will be cooking and answers any questions you have. You’ll then break into small groups and prepare your meal under the guidance of the chef.

On Arrival you'll receive a refreshing, chilled drinking coconut, followed by;

  • A starter of dhom kha (chicken and coconut soup)
  • The main, a crispy whole fish with three-flavoured sauce
  • And for dessert, coconut and lychee tapioca

When you’ve finished cooking you’ll sit down with your new friends and eat the yummy food you’ve created. During dinner you’ll match beer and/or wines with the food you’ve cooked and discuss your culinary experience.

You'll go home knowing how to make good food, inexpensively and with minimum effort. Get ready to wow your guests at your next dinner party with the tantalising tastes of Thailand, fresh from your own kitchen!

All students receive a CD that has all the recipes, notes and lots of other information so you can show off at home!

This experience is mostly held on Wednesday evenings and is 3 hours in duration. This experience is subject to availability.

Guidelines:

Any changes to a booking up to 5 days before a class will incur a $20 administration fee (GST included). No changes (apart from attendee name), can be made to a booking less than 5 days before a class.

Numbers:

This experience is for one person. We operate with a maximum of 16 students per cooking class. Usually during the class you will be cooking in pairs.

Spectators:

There is no provision for spectators

Weather:

This experience is not affected by the weather.

Cancellation Policy:

Apart from attendee name, any changes to a booking will incur a $25 administration fee (GST included).

    The class was brilliant. Brendan and Kevin made the experience a whole lot of fun. Their facilities are great. I highly recommend the Thai cooking class. The food we cooked was terrific, especially the soup and the dessert.

    The chef and staff were friendly, helpful and made me feel at ease. This course was so enjoyable and I learnt new skills as well. I will definitely be returning to try some of the other classes they offer.
