Do hot air ballooning over the spectacular Yarra Valley! Float across the sky and over the top of the unique landscapes of Australia's most famous wine region. Peaceful yet exhilarating, the flight lasts for approximately one hour. Finish the journey with a delicious breakfast.
Take off on a beautiful hot air balloon flight over the Yarra Valley at dawn with Australia's most exciting ballooning company. Float with the breeze over the picturesque landscapes of the Yarra Valley and view the scenery from a totally different perspective. Afterwards, celebrate a traditional champagne breakfast at Rochford Wines.
This experience voucher is valid for 12 months from date of purchase.
Venue:
Yarra Valley, Victoria.
Session Length
Approximately 4 hours in total from check in to champagne celebration. The flight itself is 1 hour.
Guidelines:
Minimum fitness level required. Passengers need to be able to climb into the basket, and stand for the hour’s flight. We will need to be informed of someone has a medical condition that may preclude them from flying e.g a back problem. We do not fly ladies who are more than 12 weeks pregnant.
Numbers:
The price quoted is for one person. There will be a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 16 people in the basket during your flight.
Weather:
In the case of windy, wet miserable weather the flight is cancelled at the pilots discretion. Flights are usually confirmed the night before.
Other Info:
Bring a hat and your camera as there are fantastic photo opportunities. Price is per person

This experience is suitable for people with a sensory impairment only. You must be independently mobile in case of emergency.
Cancellation Policy:
You will lose the full cost of your flight if you fail to show up for your flight. You may send someone else in your place if you wish - please let us know the name of the replacement person before the flight. * Within 48 hours prior: No changes are permitted - passengers are advised to make their own insurance provisions in case of unforseen circumstances including being unwell to fly due to illness. Under no circumstances will flights be refunded or re-scheduled if passengers cancel or do not show up on the day. * Between 48 hours and 7 days prior: A non-refundable $50 per person rebooking fee will be charged directly payable to the supplier; weekday flights will need to be re-scheduled on a weekday flight only, excluding public holidays. * Bookings cancelled up to 7 days prior to a flight date cannot be refunded. * Accommodation and Wine tour packages are non-refundable and should the flight be cancelled due to inclement weather this does not apply.

I enjoyed all aspects of the day. The RedBalloning team was extremely organised right from the start of the day. We registered in were given the relevant information and introducted to the pilot. When we arrived at the take off point I enjoyed the involvement in the setting up of the ballon. The take off and flight was breath taking, we were also lucky to have such beautiful morning for the flight. It was a wonderful experience.

To start with, the staff were very professional, they worked well as team and were very welcoming. Flying with a confident pilot overshadowed my fear of heights and converted it to excitement. Brian our Pilot was not only good in flying he also knew well the history behind ballooning. The support crews were as wonderful as the champaign and breakfast on arrival, thanks to the host Rochford Winery. The "Sunrise hotair balloon experience " was a fantastic birthday gift from my family. I felt that I was floating on a cloud. Everything about the day went smoothly. Our pilot " Victor" and "Ross" our driver were great, explained every thing fully, and were very helpful. We were well looked after at the Rochford Winery, presented with an enjoyable breakfast and plenty of the obligatory sparkling wine. I would have liked either a shorter flight, or something to sit on as I have hip and back problems and was unaware of the amount of standing time.

All good!!!! I wish we had realised that the morning breakfast was sort of open ended as we would have checked out of our accomodation before we arrived for the balloon ride. However the people at our accomodation were good and let us have a late checkout (I think most of them do). But this wasn't your concern!! We felt entirely secure and confident of our pilot Grega. The experience was breathtaking from taking part in the inflating, to the actual ride to packing away and breakfast!!! WE H...All good!!!! I wish we had realised that the morning breakfast was sort of open ended as we would have checked out of our accomodation before we arrived for the balloon ride. Three of my children decided to take me on a surprise weekend away for my 60th birthday. What a surprise!!!!! Soaring above the meandering streams and vineyards of the Yarra Valley and watching the sun rise above the clouds was the most awesome experience. It was so spectacular I didn't have time to feel nervous. ;o)

Awesome experience... loved it! They were brilliantly organised, very efficient, relaxed and fun. Rochford were great too, breakfast was delicious as was the glass of sparkling! Excellent choice and will do it again!

When I first received my Gift Voucher from my two boys I thought to myself how on earth am I going to go through this as I had all these thoughts going throug my head. I was in two minds about this whole adventure trip. Together with two other couples that came along with us we had an AMAZING flight it seemed so sureal and peaceful in the air and to finish of with the champagne breakfast just topped it off.... The ballon ride was great. I did have a bit of trouble with the RedBalloon website log in. I could not see what was purchased and it got a bit confusing until I rang and someone sorted it out.

From start to finish my experience was very well organised. Not only did our pilot do a fabulous job of flying but the ground support crew were very friendly and efficient, not a grouchy person to be found despite the very early start. It was all managed very professionally and from a consumers point of view it went without a hitch. Thank you for a great experience.
