Hot Air Ballooning Over Greater Sydney
Go hot air ballooning in Greater Sydney! Float above the historic Macarthur region or Penrith Valley in a beautiful balloon! Peaceful yet exhilarating, the hot air ballooning lasts for approximately one hour. Your Sydney adventure will finish with breakfast and a champagne toast!
Take off to experience breathtaking views in a dream scenario - hot air ballooning at sunrise. Float with the breeze over the picturesque landscape while viewing the stunning vista of the Blue Mountain to the west and the glistening ocean to the east.
You will be welcomed by your pilot and friendly crew one hour before sunrise. Tea or coffee is available while you listen to your flight briefing. You are then transported to the pilot's chosen launch site depending on the wind conditions. Here you can either help with the inflation of the balloon, or you are welcome to stand back and take photographs.
Once inflated you climb into the basket for a briefing with your experienced pilot. When airbourne, relax and enjoy the sensation of floating as one with the wind. As the balloon drifts serenely you can take pictures of the beautiful surrounding area or just enjoy the excitement, peace and tranquility of your balloon ride.
After approximately 1 hour of hot air ballooning you will be greeted by your crew as you land softly back down on earth. The romance of the morning continues as you feast on a sumptuous champagne breakfast and celebrate the most exhilarating morning of your life!

Venue:
The location for this experience depends on Weekend or Weekday travel arrangements. Weekend flights: Camden, Greater Sydney, NSW. Weekday flights: Parramatta Region, NSW
Session Length
Approximately 4 hours in total from check in to champagne celebration. The flight itself is 1 hour. Meeting time is approximately half an hour before sunrise. This experience is not available in July and August due to adverse weather.
Guidelines:
Minimum fitness level required. Passengers need to be able to climb into the basket, and stand for the hour's flight. We will need to be informed if someone has a medical condition that may preclude them from flying e.g a back problem. We do not fly ladies who are more than 12 weeks pregnant.
Numbers:
The price quoted is for one person. There will be a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 16 people in the basket with you during your flight.
Weather:
In the case of windy, wet miserable weather the flight is cancelled at the pilots descretion. Flights are usually confirmed the night before.
Other Info:
Bring a hat and your camera as there are fantastic photo opportunities. Please note, this weekday option for this experience now departs Parramatta rather than Homebush.

We really enjoyed the whole experience, the weather was perfect, the pilot was very professional and interacted well with us. The greatest feeling to be floating above and only hearing the sound of morning birds and seeing a mob of kangaroos running beneath us through the vineyards. Only criticisim was a flippant comment made by one of the crew prior to our departure. It wasnt received well and he needs to be more professional in his approach, as we did pay $300 each for our flight. Just wanted to say what a wonderful time we had. The team running the hot air balloon "experience" were wonderful. Everything was explained really well and they all had a great sense of humour. Thoroughly recommend to everyone!!! We had a blast and would love to do it again!

The balloon ride was fantastic,considering I have a great fear of heights!!Martin ,our captain, was very welcoming and informative.I think the photos should be included in the price,considering we pay a lot for the experience.Unfortunately,our breakfast was a little dried out and rushed,and a cup of tea or coffee included ,would be nice .

Both Gordon and I (Kay) thoroughly enjoyed the balloon ride, unfortunately, the weather wasn't the greatest, but that can't be helped. The crew were fantastic, telling tales, cracking jokes and generally such a happy group of people, who genuinely liked working together and got on well with each other. Everything was so well organised. Martin is a brilliant pilot and put us down right where he said he was.....Another thing off our bucket list !!!!!!!

The views were so beautiful and the staff were fantastic- very organised and friendly! Thought it was great how our pilot, Mike, explained everything he was doing- putting us all at ease and making us feel like we were in very safe hands! An experience we will never forget- definitely recommended!

The hot air balloon ride in Camden was a very professionally run event, I would recommend that you stay in the local area as it is a very early start and after the champagne breakfast you can go back to bed as we did for an extra sleep in!

It was great, my mother was initially worried about going up in the balloon, but we were well looked after my the crew and the pilot (Mike was great). The champane breakfeast topped off an amazing morning!
