Helicopter Trial Introductory Flight
During this helicopter trial instructional flight you will experience the thrill of flying a helicopter yourself! After a briefing you take the controls and learn the basics of helicopter flying with an instructor at your side. Learn to fly over the scenic hills and the Indian Ocean near Perth.
Your helicopter trial instructional flight includes a pre-flight briefing and a 35 minute flying lesson in a Robinson helicopter with dual controls.
Once you are in the air your instructor will allow you to take over the controls and fly the helicopter yourself! Feel the glory and excitement as you pilot the helicopter over the picturesque Jandakot region in the beautiful Western Australian sky.
After your lesson you will receive a certificate. It is an exhilarating experience and one you won't forget in a hurry!
This experience voucher is valid for 12 months from date of purchase.
Venue:
Jandakot Airport, Western Australia - approximately 20 minutes south of the Perth CBD.
Session Length
We are open seven days a week from 8am - 4pm. Bookings are essential and are subject to availability. Please allow approximately 60 minutes for this experience. This includes 35 minutes in the helicopter.
Guidelines:
You need to be physically well and 14 years of age or older to participate in this experience. There is also a minimum height requirement of 160cm. Weight restrictions apply.
Numbers:
The price quoted is for one person. You will be one-on-one with your pilot during your flight.
Spectators:
Spectators are welcome at no extra charge and may watch your flight from the ground.
Weather:
This experience may be affected by the weather. In the case of poor weather conditions we will notify you and reschedule your experience for a later date.

Exellent, something I will remember for a long time. A dream come true, I thought i was only going for a flight but to actually fly the helicopter what an experience. The pilot gave you alot of convidence and made you feel like a mate. The best birthday present ever.

Excellent time, would do it again if I could afford it. Pilot and staff at heliwest were1st class. Helicopter flight was amazing, got to take the controls for ages, once in a lifetime experence. 39deg that day, had my wife and 3 young children there, so while I was enjoying myself they got shown around, my 2 year old son had a fantastic time being shown the helicopters!

I have to say that i had some trepidation about the flight. Not the flight itself because i have been on helicopter flights before and I just love flying in whatever. I was, to say the least just a little nervous about actually taking the controls. All my fears were unfounded. My instructor put me at ease and I had the best time ever. I would definitely recommend the experience to my friends.
