Enjoy the beautiful sights of the City of Melbourne and its city beaches like you've never seen before in your own private helicopter. The Robinson 44 will whisk you and a partner on a spectacular 20 Minute scenic flight along which will have you flying over the city and along Melbourne's beaches.

Your helicopter experience begins with a briefing before take off in the Robinson 44 Helicopter. Cruise from Essendon Airport and head towards Port Melbourne and station pier for your low run along the beach. After a turn around Melbourne’s iconic Luna Park, you head up past the F1 Grand Prix track towards the MCG and new AAMI Stadium, before commencing an entire circle of the city. This perspective of the city is one to be remembered.

This experience voucher is valid for 12 months from date of purchase.

Session Length

We are open for bookings seven days a week. Your experience consists of a 20-minute flight plus a five-minute briefing. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to scheduled start time.

There is a maximum of 220kg combined passenger weight for this aircraft. When confirming the booking please provide us with your exact weight (not an estimate) flights are scheduled according to the weights provided on booking.

This experience is for 2 Passengers plus the pilot.

Spectators:

Spectators are welcome to take photos of your take off and landing.

Weather:

Helicopter flights are affected by weather. In the event of inclement weather, the flight will be rescheduled to a later date.

Other Info:

You can reschedule your flight date free of charge if you give the supplier more than 2 weeks notice. There is a $100 admin fee if you want to reschedule the flight within 2 weeks of the confirmed date.No changes within 48 hours. No shows forfeit their tickets and are not entitled to a refund.

    A fantastic experience - great service, starting with confirmation of booking and directions over the phone. We where then greeted in person by Cam at the door, shown through to the office for our briefing. Really professional ... Then the actual ride - WOW. Nice and gentle, and the views where amazing ... What a beautiful city we have !! Thanks, will definitely recommend to friends and family.

    The RedBalloon lady I booked through over the phone was so very helpful, pleasant and I found that nothing was too much trouble for her. The Experience Providers were terrific, so friendly and welcoming and we felt very much at home in their comfortable and warm lounge waiting area. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they were happy to chat about the helicopter and they were very thorough about the safety advice etc. My husband enjoyed his surprise birthday experience and we are now goin...
