Take the flight controls and fly over Parramatta north to the Bahai Temple and towards the magnificent northern beaches. Circle Sydney Harbour with stunning views of the Bridge, Opera House, North and South Head and of course the harbour and its foreshores!

You will depart Bankstown Airport after your instructor has given you a thorough ground briefing and lodged a flight plan. With you at the controls, your instructor will guide you over Parramatta and north to Hornsby where you will turn right and fly past the Bahai Temple towards the magnificent northern beaches. Your instructor will handle all radio calls and by this time request clearance to enter Sydney Controlled Airspace for your flight to Sydney Harbour. Turning right again, you will fly directly to the harbour where you will be given clearance to orbit over the harbour between the Harbour Bridge and Opera House. From your aircraft you will have the Sydney CBD laid out below you with spectacular views.

Your return flight to Bankstown will take you back the way you came for a safe landing at Bankstown Airport.

This experience voucher is valid for 12 months from date of purchase.

Session Length

This experience is 1.5 hours in duration, which includes the briefing time. Flight time will be approximately 1 hour from engine start to engine stop.

Guidelines:

Participants must be at least 140cm tall to participate in this experience and a Maximum Weight of 100kgs will apply. You will be required to meet the booking time or risk having to reschedule the flight for another day.

If the weather is unsuitable for the flight, we will endeavour to contact you as soon as possible and reschedule the flight for another day.

Other Info:

The flight will be subject to instructor and aircraft availability as well as being able to receive the necessary clearances from Air Traffic Control. Flight times are 9.30am, 11.00am, 12.30pm, 2.00pm or 3.30pm each day.

    This was a great experience, particularly if you have a general interest in aviation or simply want to see the city from the skies. The friendly instructor took time to provide general information as to the the flight and what to expect. He allowed me to safely take the controls of the aircraft and gave feedback as to how I was doing and what to look out for. I thought I'd seen Sydney but there' no better way than flying just 1500 ft at 200km p/h while you take it all in. Thank you.

    Had an awsome experience. The facilitators were easy going, flexable, and very easy to get along with. The experience was alot more hands on than I expected with The pilot taking off and landing and allowing me to take control and participate in everything else. Hopefully this wont be my last

    Absolutely wonderful, very happy with the staff and experience in general. Have already recommended it to many friends and family. Only wish I was able to do it every weekend.

    I really enjoyed it. It was such an experience that i've never had before and would recommend anyone to try it. Sydney is such a beautiful city from above. This was a prize that my husband won and gave to me as a gift. I loved every moment of it. The pilot was very polite and kind. Would love to do it again. Thank You

    Really friendly instructor, gave me a lot of time in control of the aircraft and tailored the experience to what I wanted. All in all a great experience that I would highly recommend!

    The whole of the experience was fantastic not at all what i expected which made it even better,The pilot John who was my instructor was a total professional and a credit to his company.I will and have already recommended this flight experience to my friends,work collegues and family and i will do it again in the near future.Thanks for a great afternoon.

    Very good experience for anyone interested in learning to fly or for those who would like to know what its like to fly a plane. I had control of the plane for nearlly the entire flight (bar the landing) and loved every minute of it.

    Received the flight over Sydney Harbour package as a present for my birthday. Had an amazing time from beginning to end. The Instructor was brilliant & made the experience one that I will never forget. Can't recommend highly enough!

    I didn't get to fly over the harbor due to restrictions but I got to fly over the north beaches which i think was better, the instructor was very helpful and explained a lot to me. I really enjoyed the flight and learnt a lot from it and would definitely recommend it to friends.

    Fantastic! I had a wonderful time and would highly recommend the experience. The instructing and support was excellent. The level of participation was totally at my discretion. It was a wonderful day with a great view as we flew over Sydney harbour, the harbour bridge and then up low over the northern beaches with the sun setting in the west.
