  The offering was a pleasant and easy to understand experience. The one on one instruction was ideal for a group with varying degrees of expertise and made the night worthwhile. Penny was very informative and helped everyone relax and enjoy the walk, as well as improve their photographic skills, with good and direct instruction and information.. Very good experience.

  Perhaps a different location might be good, the picture on this page is great and it would have been nice to be away from the traffic for a bit. I understand we were learning technique but it would have been good to get a couple of nice photos as well.

  The workshop was great and Penny was fabulous in teaching us how to use our camera settings and getting fantastic and different shots. She was easy to deal with too and very accommodating. The time went quickly and it was great only having a small group so you felt like you got more individualised service.

  The experience was excellent - surpassing my expectations. Penny is clearly a skilled photographer but is also a competent and patient instructor and demonstrator. I have had an upmarket camera for several years but had never used it successfully at night. This workshop not only showed me how to set up the camera for night photography but also some of the tricks of the trade - and also showed me things about my camera that I did not know.   I thought that the course was good and informative even though I brought the wrong camera and therefore was unable to get the most of the lesson.I would recommend this course to people who are interested in photography or people who would just like to take better shots when on holidays etc.

I didn't have much experience with my camera other than how to change the settings and having two hours with someone who know's what they're talking about really gave me the time to play around and feel comfortable using the camera and getting some great night photos.

  This workshop was fantastic - the instructor covered so much within the 2 hour session, tailored her instructions to everyone's specific camera needs and was very knowledgeable. I learnt so much about the functions of my camera and ended up with some fantastic photos of Melbourne's night life. I can't wait to get out and practice my new skills!

  Finally able to take my camera off auto and be in total control of my camera. Finally I can take photos at night that look the same as the professionals. Well worth the money and the teacher was very patient with this very green SLR user. A must do course for anyone who wants to take night photos.

  It was a lot to take in in such a short space of time but Penny was really helpful and has since sent me notes. It helps to know the manual settings on your camera really well prior to attending, as well as actually understanding what they are and what they do.
