Get ready to wrap your hands around some of the most lethal weapons available to man in a completely safe environment. This indoor recreational shooting package includes a .45 semi automatic weapon and a .44 Magnum pistol, so you can aim at the paper targets and try to hit the bullseye!

Get ready to experience the adrenalin kick in as you try your hand at indoor target shooting! Your ‘Mad Max’ shooting package is guaranteed to get you interested in the sport of recreational shooting as you take on 28 rounds of a .45 semi automatic weapon and 24 rounds of a .44 magnum!

The semi automatic weapon is a model of the Colt 1911, Government 45. This gun was first made in 1897 and was the US Armed Forces sidearm of choice for an amazing 84 years. For all of our ‘Dirty Harry’ fans you’ll easily recognise the .44 Magnum and now you too can get behind the trigger of these pistols as you try to shoot the centre of the target.

Conducted in an indoor arena, this experience offers one of the safest firearm sporting venues in Australia, with six separate, air-conditioned indoor ranges and a variety of fully maintained firearms available. During your shooting experience, our experienced Range Officers will fully supervise you to ensure that you participate in this exciting and thrilling sport in complete safety.

Best of all, no prior shooting experience is necessary and anyone over the age of 11 years can safety participate in this increasingly popular sport!

Session Length

We are open 7 days a week, all year round from 10am to 10pm. Please book in advance to secure your preferred time. All bookings are subject to availability. Please allow approximately 30 minutes for your experience.

Guidelines:

You must be over 11 years of age to participate. Children aged 11 – 17 years must be accompanied by a parent. You must bring ID with you on the day, such as a driver’s license, ID card, passport or 18+ card. You will not be permitted to participate if you are under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

Numbers:

The price quoted is for one person. We can operate with up to 250 people on one day.

Spectators:

Not suitable for spectators.

Weather:

This experience takes place indoors and is therefore not affected by the weather.

Other Info:

In this experience you will receive 28 rounds of a .45 semi automatic and 24 rounds of a .44 magnum pistol. Fully trained range officers will ensure you enjoy this exciting sport in total safety. During the experience, you will be shooting at paper retrieval targets.

Had an absolutely fantastic experience. Drove down from the Sunshine Coast with a colleague. Neither of had participated in such an activity previously. The staff at the Australian Shooting Academy were friendly, courteous and professional Didn't want the 30 minutes to end. Will be recommending to friends and will be returning. Good fun.

The experience was good and I really enjoyed it. The instructor that took us was very good and explained everything clearly and we actually learnt a few things about shooting ranges and etc.
