Get out and about with this one day outdoor rock climbing course, just 30 minutes east of Perth. This rock climbing course is perfect for those with little or no rock climbing experience. So if you wish to either start or extend your outdoor rock climbing abilities then this course is for you!

Compared to indoor climbing, outdoor rock climbing requires you to choose your own route, thereby increasing the difficulty and complexity of the activity. As such, outdoor rock climbing gives you a greater sense of personal challenge and achievement!

The day begins with a training session. You will be briefed on safety equipment, communication and climbing protocol, tying onto a rope and belaying the climber.

You will also be instructed on various moves and techniques to improve your climbing style and to aid you in climbing difficult walls. Climbs are set up throughout the crag to allow you to experience various pitches and difficulties throughout the day. Instructors are on hand all day to assist and advise you while you climb.

This one day rock climbing course is a great introduction to rockclimbing in the outdoors. Rock climbing is great for your health, an adrenalin rush, a fantastic challenge and is lots of fun.

This experience voucher is valid for 12 months from date of purchase.

Venue:

Gooseberry Hill, Western Australia - approximately 30 minutes east of the Perth CBD.

Session Length

During the 1st November - 31 March this experience begins at 7am and concludes at 3pm. During 1st April - 31st October this experience begins at 8am and concludes at 4pm. Bookings are essential and are subject to availability.

Guidelines:

This course is suitable for beginners and inexperienced rock climbers. Children aged 12 - 13 years must be accompanied by a paying and participating parent or guardian. Children aged 14 - 16 years must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who does not need to participate.

Numbers:

The price quoted is for one person. There will be a minimum of six and a maximum of 16 participants on the day.

Spectators:

Spectators are welcome and will be able to watch the entire experience.

Weather:

This experience may be affected by the weather. In the case of poor weather conditions we will reschedule your experience for a later date.

Other Info:

You will need to sign a waiver prior to participating in this experience. You need to bring your own packed lunch, snacks and at least two litres of water. You might also want to bring your camera. All rock climbing gear will be provided.

    So disgusting that it was absolutely AWESOME!!! To reach the top of what initially really seems impossible is such a thrill not to mention motivational kick. Ben and Tristian our instructors was easy to talk with and friendly.
